The Virus Test Center in Hamburg was founded in 1988 by Professor Klaus Brunnstein, and he continuously confronted a stream of students with issues of data protection and IT security. Among others, he offered a four-semester cycle of lectures on all aspects of IT security. Professor Klaus Brunnstein was an important and respected member of the anti-virus community, and the Virus Test Center at the University of Hamburg which was renowned for the quality of its tests, and helped produce some worldclass experts who later benefited the industry. Sadly Professor Professor Klaus Brunnstein died on 20'th May 2015, just a few days before his 78'th birthday. Rest in peace my friend. 😢
